Choosing an alpha level of 0.05 is a 95% accuracy, this might be fine for deciding the amount of chocolate that was added to each candy bar, this is not a life threateneing statistic but when it comes to Health Care and testing medications that have a distinct impact on someones life we would want them to be at a lower alfa level like the 0.01 which is a 99% acccuracy level.
